1a. Saul Goodman classic wood A true replica of the original Goodman wood, these mallets have a great balance and feel. Also available is a slightly smaller version of this design for baroque timpani and lighter playing on modern drums. |

2. ultra staccato One layer of 1mm 100% wool black felt over a wooden core make these mallets very articulate. |

3. staccato (white felt - 1 layer) Available with wood or cork core. Excellent for articulate playing, with a round tone quality. Red thread by the core indicates 1 layer of felt (light red for wood core, dark red for cork). |

4. general (white felt - 2 layers) Available with wood or cork core. All purpose mallets for playing smooth rolls and clear rhythms. Blue thread by the core indicates 2 layers of felt (light blue for wood core, dark blue for cork). |

5. soft (white felt - 3 layers) Made with a cork core. When well played in, the 3 seamless layers produce a beautiful and rich quality of sound. Green thread by the core indicates 3 layers of felt. |
